Within the past 12 months, we have gone from strength to strength and are looking for a Junior Copywriter to support us as we maintain our success. You will help our team and clients by building brand awareness through copywriting, with plenty of opportunities to grow within the role and the company.

Job Role: Junior Copywriter
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Experience: Copywriting, 1 year (preferred)
Location: Birkenhead
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a content brief and produce original and creative copy for numerous formats and channels including long-form and short-form content.
- Ensure all content has a clear tone of voice that aligns with the client’s objectives.
- Adapt writing style to numerous industries and sectors whilst maintaining originality.
- Work to deadlines to produce and submit content to clients when needed.
- Continuously research industries and sectors to ensure content is compelling, and thought-provoking and differentiates our clients from competitors.
- Support SEO strategies for clients including keyword research, page titles, meta descriptions, on-page SEO and link building.
- Work with the wider digital marketing team to ensure we are making an impact through content and storytelling.
- Helping ensure our clients’ site content is relevant and up to date regarding products, seasonality, and trends to maximise SEO performance.
- Manage own workload and time-critical assignments when they arise.
Ideal Candidate Preferred Experience – All applicants will be considered:
- 1 year + experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and research skills
- Strong English verbal and written skills supporting effective communication, idea generation, research and supporting clients in writing SEO-targeted content
- Experience in using SEO support tools such as Semrush is preferred but not essential
- Experience in using CMS systems such as WordPress is preferred but not essential
- Experience in using CRM tools such as Accelo is preferred but not essential
- A basic understanding of digital marketing and the effectiveness of content in digital marketing strategies
- Creative copywriting experience
- An eye for detail and the ability to come up with ideas.
- Be ambitious and have the initiative to learn new digital marketing tools and tactics to develop all of the above skills
Salary: £20,000- £24,000 (dependent on experience)
